How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. Begin by closing the feed water supply line valve leading to the RO system and the corresponding water tank valve to secure the setup effectively.
2. Proceed by opening the RO faucet to completely release system pressure, ensuring a safe and straightforward membrane replacement process.
3. Carefully remove the blue safety clip, press the collect, and gently detach the tubing from the membrane housing, allowing clear access.
4. Utilize the included wrench to unscrew and remove the membrane housing cap with precision and ease, facilitating a smooth operation.
5. With the aid of pliers, delicately extract and dispose of the old membrane. Insert the new membrane, ensuring the end with two washers is securely positioned inside the housing.
6. Securely replace and tighten the membrane housing cap, reconnect the tubing, and attach the blue safety clip to complete the setup seamlessly and efficiently.
Note: Should you encounter difficulty securing the housing cap, gently twist the RO membrane to ensure a proper seat against the pure water outlet, achieving a perfect fit.
