How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. Begin by closing the feed water supply line valve leading to the RO system and the corresponding valve on the water tank to ensure a secure setup.
2. Next, open the RO faucet to fully release the pressure within the system, facilitating a safe and easy membrane replacement.
3. Carefully remove the blue safety clip, press the collet, and gently detach the tubing from the membrane housing for clear access.
4. Utilize the included wrench to unscrew and remove the membrane housing cap with precision and ease.
5. Using pliers, gently extract and dispose of the old membrane. Insert the new membrane, ensuring that the end with two washers is securely positioned inside the housing.
6. Firmly replace and tighten the membrane housing cap, reconnect the tubing, and attach the blue safety clip to seamlessly complete the setup.
Note: If you experience difficulty when securing the housing cap, gently twist the RO membrane to ensure it is properly seated against the pure water outlet for a perfect fit.
