How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. To begin, ensure the feed water supply line valve to the RO system and the associated valve on the water tank are both turned off.
2. Proceed to open the RO faucet, allowing the internal pressure in the system to completely dissipate.
3. Gently remove the blue safety clip, depress the collect, and carefully detach the tubing from the membrane housing for safe handling.
4. Use the included wrench to unscrew and remove the cap of the membrane housing accurately.
5. With pliers, extract the used membrane and dispose of it. Insert the new membrane, ensuring the end with two washers is seated securely within the housing.
6. Firmly replace and tighten the membrane housing cap, reconnect the tubing, and reattach the blue safety clip to finalize the process.
Note: If you experience difficulties when replacing the housing cap, gently twist the RO membrane to ensure it is properly aligned and seated at the pure water outlet.
