How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. Begin by turning off the feed water supply line valve to the RO system and the corresponding valve on the water tank for a secure setup.
2. Next, open the RO faucet to completely relieve the system pressure, making the membrane replacement safe and effortless.
3. Carefully remove the blue safety clip, press the collect, and gently detach the tubing from the membrane housing to gain clear access.
4. Use the included wrench to precisely unscrew and remove the membrane housing cap with ease.
5. Carefully extract the old membrane using pliers and dispose of it. Insert the new membrane, ensuring the end with two washers is securely placed inside for optimal performance.
6. Securely replace and tighten the membrane housing cap, reconnect the tubing, and reattach the blue safety clip to complete the setup flawlessly.
Note: If securing the housing cap is challenging, gently rotate the RO membrane to ensure it seats properly against the pure water outlet, allowing for a perfect fit.
