How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. Begin by turning off both the feed water supply valve to the RO system and the valve on the water tank.
2. Open the RO faucet to release and bleed off any pressure remaining in the system.
3. Carefully remove the blue safety clip, then push down on the collect and gently disconnect the tubing from the membrane housing.
4. Utilize the provided wrench to unscrew and remove the membrane housing cap.
5. Extract the old membrane using pliers, discard it, and carefully insert the new membrane. The end with two small washers should be inserted first; ensure it is seated securely within the housing.
6. Reattach and securely tighten the membrane housing cap. Reconnect the tubing and reinsert the blue safety clip, ensuring everything is properly fitted.
Note: Should the housing cap prove difficult to replace, gently twist the RO membrane until it aligns correctly with the pure water outlet.
