How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. Begin by turning off the feed water supply line valve to your RO system, along with the valve on the water tank for safety.
2. Open the RO faucet to release any remaining pressure from the system, ensuring a safe and smooth process.
3. Carefully remove the blue safety clip, pressing down and disconnecting the tubing from the membrane housing with ease.
4. Employ the wrench to unscrew and remove the membrane housing cap, preparing for replacement.
5. Utilize pliers to extract the used membrane. Discard responsibly and insert the new membrane smoothly. Ensure the end with two washers is inserted first, pushing until it sits securely.
6. Secure the membrane housing cap by replacing and tightening it. Reconnect the tubing and restore the blue safety clip to its position.
Note: If the housing cap resists reassembly, gently twist the RO membrane to ensure it seats correctly at the pure water outlet, facilitating secure closure.
