How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. Begin by securely closing the feed water supply line valve leading to the RO system and the associated valve on the water tank to stabilize the setup.
2. Next, open the RO faucet to fully relieve the system's pressure, allowing for a safe and effortless membrane replacement.
3. Carefully remove the blue safety clip, press the collect, and gently detach the tubing from the membrane housing to gain clear access.
4. Utilize the included wrench to skillfully unscrew and remove the membrane housing cap with precision and ease.
5. With pliers, delicately extract and discard the old membrane. Insert the new membrane, ensuring that the end with two washers is securely seated inside the housing.
6. Firmly replace and tighten the membrane housing cap, reconnect the tubing, and reattach the blue safety clip for a seamless setup completion.
Note: Should you encounter difficulty when securing the housing cap, gently twist the RO membrane to ensure it is perfectly aligned against the pure water outlet for an ideal fit.
