How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. Begin by turning off both the feed water supply line valve to the RO system and the valve on the water tank to prevent any water flow.
2. Next, open the RO faucet to release and bleed off the pressure existing within the system.
3. Carefully remove the blue safety clip. Push down the collect and gently push out the tubing to effectively disconnect it from the membrane housing.
4. Using the provided wrench, unscrew and remove the membrane housing cap to access the interior.
5. Employ a pair of pliers to extract the used membrane. Discard it, then insert the new membrane, ensuring the end with two small washers enters first. Push until it securely seats within the membrane housing.
6. Replace and tighten the membrane housing cap. Reconnect the tubing that was removed, and reattach the blue safety clip to secure everything in place.
Note: If encountering difficulty replacing the housing cap, gently twist the RO membrane to align it correctly with the pure water outlet, ensuring a proper fit.
