How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. Begin by closing the feed water supply line valve leading to the RO system and the corresponding valve on the water tank to secure the setup and ensure a smooth process.
2. Next, open the RO faucet to fully release the pressure within the system, ensuring a safe and effortless membrane replacement.
3. Carefully remove the blue safety clip, press the collect, and gently detach the tubing from the membrane housing for clear and easy access.
4. Utilize the included wrench to unscrew and remove the membrane housing cap with precision and ease.
5. Using pliers, gently extract and dispose of the old membrane. Insert the new membrane, securing the end with two washers firmly inside the housing.
6. Firmly replace and tighten the membrane housing cap, reconnect the tubing, and reattach the blue safety clip to complete the setup seamlessly.
Note: If you encounter any difficulty when securing the housing cap, gently twist the RO membrane to ensure it is properly seated against the pure water outlet for a perfect fit, maintaining system integrity.
