How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. Begin by closing the feed water supply line valve leading to the RO system, as well as the corresponding valve on the water tank, to secure the setup.
2. Next, open the RO faucet to fully release pressure within the system, ensuring a safe and easy membrane replacement process.
3. Carefully remove the blue safety clip, press the collect, and gently detach the tubing from the membrane housing for clear access.
4. Utilize the included wrench to unscrew and remove the membrane housing cap with precision and ease.
5. With the help of pliers, gently extract and dispose of the old membrane. Insert the new membrane, ensuring that the end with two washers is securely placed inside the housing.
6. Firmly replace and tighten the membrane housing cap, then reconnect the tubing and attach the blue safety clip to complete the setup seamlessly.
Note: Should you encounter difficulty when securing the housing cap, gently twist the RO membrane to ensure it is properly seated against the pure water outlet for a perfect fit.
