How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. Start by turning off both the feed water supply line valve to the RO system and the valve on the water tank.
2. Proceed to open the RO faucet, allowing the system's internal pressure to completely dissipate.
3. Gently remove the blue safety clip, press down on the collect, and carefully detach the tubing from the membrane housing.
4. Using the provided wrench, cautiously unscrew and remove the cap of the membrane housing.
5. Employ pliers to extract and dispose of the used membrane, then insert the new membrane, ensuring it is securely seated by inserting the end with two washers first.
6. Firmly replace and tighten the membrane housing cap, reconnect the tubing, and reattach the blue safety clip to complete the replacement process.
Note: If you encounter difficulty when replacing the housing cap, gently twist the RO membrane to ensure it is properly positioned at the pure water outlet.
