How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. To begin, close the feed water supply line valve leading to the RO system and the corresponding valve on the water tank, ensuring a secure setup.
2. Next, open the RO faucet to release all pressure within the system completely, ensuring a safe and straightforward membrane replacement.
3. Carefully remove the blue safety clip, press the collect, and gently detach the tubing from the membrane housing for clear access.
4. Utilize the included wrench to unscrew and remove the membrane housing cap with precision and ease.
5. Carefully use pliers to extract and dispose of the old membrane. Insert the new membrane, ensuring the end with two washers is securely positioned inside the housing.
6. Firmly replace and tighten the membrane housing cap, reconnect the tubing, and reattach the blue safety clip to complete the setup seamlessly.
Note: Should you encounter difficulty when securing the housing cap, gently twist the RO membrane to ensure it is properly seated against the pure water outlet, achieving a perfect fit.
