How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. Begin by closing the feed water supply line valve leading to the RO system and the corresponding valve on the water tank to ensure a secure setup.
2. Proceed by opening the RO faucet to completely release the system pressure, allowing for safe and convenient membrane replacement.
3. Carefully remove the blue safety clip, press the collect, and delicately disconnect the tubing from the membrane housing for unobstructed access.
4. Utilize the included wrench to skillfully unscrew and detach the membrane housing cap with precision and ease.
5. With pliers, gently extract and discard the old membrane. Insert the new membrane, ensuring the end with two washers is firmly secured within the housing.
6. Confidently replace and tighten the membrane housing cap, reconnect the tubing, and reattach the blue safety clip to flawlessly complete the setup.
Note: Should you encounter difficulty securing the housing cap, gently twist the RO membrane to ensure it is properly aligned with the pure water outlet for a precise fit.
