How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. Initiate the process by turning off the feed water supply line valve to the RO system as well as the corresponding valve on the water tank.
2. Proceed by opening the RO faucet fully to allow for a complete release of pressure within the system.
3. Carefully disengage the blue safety clip, depress the collect, and gently separate the tubing from the membrane housing.
4. Using the supplied wrench, cautiously unscrew and remove the membrane housing cap to access the interior.
5. With pliers, extract the exhausted membrane, dispose of it responsibly, and insert a new membrane. Begin with the end featuring two washers to ensure a snug, secure fit within the housing.
6. Firmly replace and tighten the membrane housing cap, reconnect the tubing, and secure the blue safety clip to complete the procedure.
Note: If difficulty arises when replacing the housing cap, gently twist the RO membrane to confirm it is accurately aligned at the pure water outlet.
