How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. Begin by turning off the feed water supply line valve to the RO system and the valve on the water tank to ensure safety.
2. Open the RO faucet and allow the pressure within the system to dissipate safely.
3. Carefully remove the blue safety clip, then depress the collect and gently push out the tubing to disconnect it from the membrane housing.
4. Utilize the wrench to loosen and remove the membrane housing cap efficiently.
5. With pliers, extract the used membrane, dispose of it properly, and insert the new membrane. Ensure the end with the two washers enters first, pushing until the membrane seats securely within the housing.
6. Tighten the membrane housing cap securely, reconnect the tubing, and replace the blue safety clip for secure closure.
Note: If you experience difficulty in replacing the housing cap, gently twist the RO membrane for perfect alignment at the pure water outlet.
