How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. Begin by shutting off the feed water supply line valve leading to the RO system and the corresponding valve on the water tank to secure the configuration.
2. Next, open the RO faucet to completely release the pressure within the system, ensuring a safe and effortless membrane replacement process.
3. Carefully remove the blue safety clip, press the collet, and gently detach the tubing from the membrane housing to gain clear access.
4. Utilize the included wrench to skillfully unscrew and remove the membrane housing cap with precision and ease.
5. Using pliers, gently extract and dispose of the old membrane. Insert the new membrane, making sure the end with two washers is securely positioned inside the housing.
6. Securely replace and tighten the membrane housing cap, reconnect the tubing, and attach the blue safety clip to flawlessly complete the setup.
Note: If you encounter any difficulty when securing the housing cap, gently twist the RO membrane to ensure it is perfectly seated against the pure water outlet for an optimal fit.
