How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. Begin by turning off the feed water supply line valve leading to the RO system, as well as the corresponding valve on the water tank, to secure the setup and ensure safety.
2. Next, open the RO faucet to completely release the internal pressure of the system, facilitating a safe and smooth membrane replacement process.
3. Carefully remove the blue safety clip, depress the collect, and gently detach the tubing from the membrane housing to gain clear access.
4. Utilize the included wrench to expertly unscrew and remove the membrane housing cap with precision and ease.
5. Using pliers, gently extract and responsibly dispose of the old membrane. Insert the new membrane, ensuring that the end with two washers is firmly and securely positioned inside the housing.
6. Securely replace and tighten the membrane housing cap, reconnect the tubing, and fasten the blue safety clip to complete the setup with ease and efficiency.
Note: Should you encounter challenges when securing the housing cap, gently rotate the RO membrane to ensure it is perfectly seated against the pure water outlet, achieving an impeccable fit.
