How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. Begin by closing the feed water supply line valve leading to the RO system and the corresponding valve on the water tank to securely set the stage for maintenance.
2. Next, open the RO faucet to completely release the system's pressure, ensuring a safe and hassle-free membrane replacement experience.
3. Carefully remove the blue safety clip, gently press the collect, and meticulously detach the tubing from the membrane housing to gain clear access.
4. Utilize the included wrench to skillfully unscrew and remove the membrane housing cap with precision and ease.
5. Using pliers, delicately extract and dispose of the old membrane. Insert the new membrane with care, ensuring the end with two washers is firmly positioned inside the housing.
6. Securely replace and tighten the membrane housing cap, reattach the tubing, and fasten the blue safety clip to complete the setup with seamless efficiency.
Note: If you encounter difficulty when securing the housing cap, gently twist the RO membrane to ensure it is perfectly seated against the pure water outlet for an impeccable fit.
