How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. Begin by turning off the feed water supply line valve to the RO system and the matching valve on the water tank to ensure safety.
2. Open the RO faucet to fully release the pressure inside the system, preventing any accidents.
3. Carefully extract the blue safety clip, gently depress the collect, and cautiously detach the tubing from the membrane housing.
4. Use the included wrench to gently unscrew and remove the cap of the membrane housing for seamless access.
5. Using pliers, gently remove the old membrane, dispose of it responsibly, and insert the new membrane. Start with the end containing two washers, ensuring a snug fit within the housing.
6. Firmly replace and secure the membrane housing cap, reconnect the tubing, and reattach the blue safety clip to finalize the process.
Note: If faced with difficulty when replacing the housing cap, gently twist the RO membrane to ensure it is properly seated at the pure water outlet.
