How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. Begin by securely turning off the feed water supply line valve leading to the RO system and the corresponding valve on the water tank.
2. Proceed to open the RO faucet, allowing any residual pressure within the system to entirely dissipate.
3. With care, remove the blue safety clip, depress the collect, and gently detach the tubing from the membrane housing, ensuring no damage.
4. Utilize the provided wrench to unscrew and remove the membrane housing cap with precision, facilitating access to the membrane.
5. Employ pliers to carefully extract the used membrane, dispose of it responsibly, and securely insert the new membrane. Ensure the end with two washers is positioned correctly within the housing to guarantee optimum function.
6. Firmly replace and tighten the membrane housing cap, reconnect the tubing, and reattach the blue safety clip, completing the replacement process with finesse.
Note: If difficulty arises in replacing the housing cap, gently twist the RO membrane to confirm it is accurately seated at the pure water outlet, ensuring a snug and secure fit.
