How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. Begin by turning off the feed water supply line valve to your RO system and the valve on the water tank to effectively isolate the system.
2. Next, open the RO faucet to safely release any pressure that may have built up within the system.
3. Carefully remove the blue safety clip, then push down on the collect while simultaneously pushing out the tubing to detach it from the membrane housing.
4. Use the provided wrench to effortlessly remove the membrane housing cap, gaining access to the interior.
5. Employ pliers to gently extract the used membrane. Discard it responsibly before inserting the new membrane. Align it so that the end with the two small washers is inserted first. Push until it is securely seated in the housing.
6. Securely replace and tighten the membrane housing cap. Reconnect any removed tubing and reinsert the blue safety clip to restore system integrity.
Note: If you encounter difficulty while replacing the housing cap, gently twist the RO membrane to ensure it aligns with the pure water outlet, allowing for a snug fit.
