How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. Begin by securely closing the feed water supply line valve leading to the RO system and the associated valve on the water tank to ensure a safe setup.
2. Next, open the RO faucet to fully depressurize the system, ensuring the membrane replacement process is smooth and secure.
3. Carefully remove the blue safety clip, press the collect, and gently detach the tubing from the membrane housing for clear and unobstructed access.
4. Utilize the included wrench to expertly unscrew and remove the membrane housing cap with precision and ease.
5. With pliers, gently extract and discard the old membrane. Insert the new membrane, ensuring the end with two washers is securely inserted inside the housing.
6. Firmly replace and tighten the membrane housing cap, reconnect the tubing, and attach the blue safety clip to seamlessly complete the setup.
Note: Should you encounter difficulty when securing the housing cap, gently twist the RO membrane to ensure it is properly seated against the pure water outlet, achieving a perfect fit.
