How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. Begin by securely closing the feed water supply line valve leading to the RO system and the corresponding valve on the water tank to stabilize the setup.
2. Proceed to open the RO faucet to completely release the pressure within the system, ensuring a safe and straightforward membrane replacement process.
3. Carefully remove the blue safety clip, press the collect, and gently disconnect the tubing from the membrane housing for unobstructed access.
4. Employ the included wrench to unscrew and detach the membrane housing cap with precision and ease.
5. Utilizing pliers, cautiously extract and discard the old membrane. Insert the new membrane, making certain the end with two washers is firmly positioned inside the housing.
6. Securely replace and fasten the membrane housing cap, reconnect the tubing, and reattach the blue safety clip to seamlessly complete the setup.
Note: If you encounter difficulty when securing the housing cap, gently twist the RO membrane to ensure it is perfectly seated against the pure water outlet for an optimal fit.
