How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. Begin by shutting off the feed water supply line valve leading to the RO system and the corresponding valve on the water tank to ensure a secure setup.
2. Next, open the RO faucet to completely relieve the pressure within the system, facilitating a safe and straightforward membrane replacement.
3. Carefully remove the blue safety clip, press the collect, and gently detach the tubing from the membrane housing to gain clear access.
4. Utilize the provided wrench to unscrew and remove the membrane housing cap with precision and ease.
5. Using pliers, delicately extract and discard the old membrane. Insert the new membrane, ensuring the end with two washers is securely positioned within the housing.
6. Securely replace and tighten the membrane housing cap, reconnect the tubing, and attach the blue safety clip to finalize the setup seamlessly.
Note: If you encounter difficulty when securing the housing cap, gently twist the RO membrane to guarantee it is properly aligned against the pure water outlet for a perfect fit.
