How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. Begin by shutting off the feed water supply line valve leading to the RO system and the corresponding valve on the water tank to secure the configuration.
2. Next, open the RO faucet to completely release the pressure within the system, ensuring a safe and effortless membrane replacement.
3. Carefully remove the blue safety clip, press the collet, and gently detach the tubing from the membrane housing for unobstructed access.
4. Utilize the included wrench to unscrew and remove the membrane housing cap with accuracy and ease.
5. With pliers, gently extract and discard the old membrane. Insert the new membrane, ensuring the end with two washers is securely positioned inside the housing.
6. Securely replace and tighten the membrane housing cap, reconnect the tubing, and attach the blue safety clip to finalize the setup effortlessly.
Note: If difficulty arises in securing the housing cap, gently twist the RO membrane to ensure a flawless seating against the pure water outlet for a perfect fit.
