How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. Begin by turning off the feed water supply line valve to the RO system and the valve on the water tank to ensure safety.
2. Open the RO faucet to allow any remaining pressure in the system to bleed off, ensuring a safe and easy process.
3. Carefully remove the blue safety clip, push down the collect, and gently push out the tubing to disconnect from the membrane housing.
4. Employ the provided wrench to remove the membrane housing cap effortlessly.
5. Use pliers to extract the used membrane, discard it, and insert the new membrane. Align the end with two little washers first, ensuring it seats securely into the membrane housing.
6. Replace and securely tighten the membrane housing cap. Reconnect the tubing and restore the blue safety clip to its position.
Note: If difficulty arises in replacing the housing cap, gently twist the RO membrane to ensure it correctly seats at the pure water outlet, facilitating smooth operation.
