How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. Start the process by turning off the feed water supply line valve connected to the RO system, as well as the valve on the water tank.
2. Proceed by opening the RO faucet, allowing the internal pressure of the system to fully dissipate.
3. Gently remove the blue safety clip, depress the collect, and carefully detach the tubing from the membrane housing.
4. Use the provided wrench to delicately unscrew and remove the cap of the membrane housing.
5. With pliers, carefully extract the used membrane and dispose of it. Insert the new membrane, ensuring the end with two washers is placed first and securely sits within the housing.
6. Firmly replace and tighten the membrane housing cap, reconnect the tubing, and reattach the blue safety clip to finalize the process.
Note: If you experience difficulty in replacing the housing cap, gently twist the RO membrane to ensure it is correctly aligned at the pure water outlet.
