How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. First, shut off the feed water supply line valve to the RO system, as well as the corresponding valve on the water tank, to secure the setup.
2. Next, open the RO faucet to completely release the pressure within the system, ensuring a safe and straightforward membrane replacement.
3. Carefully remove the blue safety clip, press the collect, and gently disconnect the tubing from the membrane housing to gain clear access.
4. Utilize the provided wrench to effortlessly unscrew and remove the membrane housing cap with precision.
5. With pliers, gently extract and dispose of the old membrane. Insert the new membrane, making sure the end with two washers is securely positioned inside the housing.
6. Securely replace and tighten the membrane housing cap, reconnect the tubing, and reattach the blue safety clip to complete the setup effortlessly.
Note: If you encounter difficulty securing the housing cap, gently twist the RO membrane to ensure it is properly seated against the pure water outlet for a perfect fit.
