How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. Begin by switching off the feed water supply line valve to the RO system and the valve on the water tank to ensure safety.
2. Open the RO faucet and let the pressure in the system release completely.
3. Carefully remove the blue safety clip, push down the collect, and gently push out the tubing to disconnect it from the membrane housing.
4. Use the provided wrench to unscrew and remove the membrane housing cap effortlessly.
5. With pliers, extract the used membrane, discard it responsibly, and insert a new membrane. The end with the 2 small washers should go in first; push until it fits securely into the housing.
6. Securely replace and tighten the membrane housing cap. Reconnect the tubing and place back the blue safety clip for secure operation.
Note: If the housing cap resists being put back, gently twist the RO membrane to align it correctly with the pure water outlet.
