How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. Begin by closing the feed water supply line valve to the RO system and shutting off the valve on the water tank.
2. To release system pressure, open the RO faucet and allow it to bleed off completely.
3. Detach the tubing from the membrane housing by removing the blue safety clip, depressing the collet, and pushing out the tubing.
4. Utilize the wrench to unfasten and remove the membrane housing cap with ease.
5. Employ pliers to extract the used membrane, dispose of it responsibly, and insert the new membrane. Begin by inserting the end with the two small washers, pushing firmly until it securely seats within the housing.
6. Reattach and securely tighten the membrane housing cap, reconnect the tubing, and replace the blue safety clip to complete the process.
Note: If you encounter difficulty reattaching the housing cap, gently twist the RO membrane to correctly seat it with the pure water outlet.
