How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. Begin by closing the feed water supply line valve leading to the RO system and the corresponding valve on the water tank to secure the setup.
2. Next, open the RO faucet to fully release the pressure within the system, ensuring a safe and straightforward membrane replacement process.
3. Gently remove the blue safety clip, press the collect, and carefully detach the tubing from the membrane housing for clear access, simplifying maintenance.
4. Use the included wrench to unscrew and remove the membrane housing cap with precision and ease, facilitating quick updates.
5. Using pliers, gently extract and dispose of the old membrane. Insert the new membrane, ensuring that the end with two washers is securely placed inside the housing, maintaining system integrity.
6. Firmly replace and tighten the membrane housing cap, reconnect the tubing, and attach the blue safety clip to complete the setup seamlessly, ensuring renewed functionality.
Note: If securing the housing cap proves challenging, gently twist the RO membrane to ensure it is properly seated against the pure water outlet, achieving a perfect fit and optimal performance.
