Step-by-step: How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. Begin by securely closing the feed water supply line valve that connects to the RO system, along with the corresponding valve on the water tank, to solidify the setup.
2. Next, open the RO faucet to fully release any pressure within the system, ensuring a safe and straightforward membrane replacement process.
3. Carefully remove the blue safety clip, press the collect, and gently detach the tubing from the membrane housing to gain clear access.
4. Utilize the included wrench to skillfully unscrew and remove the membrane housing cap with precision and ease.
5. Using pliers, cautiously extract and dispose of the old membrane. Insert the new membrane, ensuring the end with two washers is securely positioned inside the housing for optimal functionality.
6. Securely replace and tighten the membrane housing cap, reconnect the tubing, and attach the blue safety clip to seamlessly complete the setup.
Important Note: If you encounter any difficulty securing the housing cap, gently twist the RO membrane to ensure it is perfectly seated against the pure water outlet for an impeccable fit.
