How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. Begin by closing the feed water supply line valve leading to the RO system along with the corresponding valve on the water tank to secure the setup.
2. Proceed to open the RO faucet to fully release the system pressure, ensuring a safe and straightforward membrane replacement process.
3. Carefully remove the blue safety clip, press the collect, and gently detach the tubing from the membrane housing to gain clear access.
4. Utilize the included wrench to unscrew and remove the membrane housing cap with precision and ease.
5. Using pliers, gently extract and discard the old membrane. Insert the new membrane, ensuring that the end with two washers is firmly placed inside the housing.
6. Securely replace and tighten the membrane housing cap, reconnect the tubing, and attach the blue safety clip to complete the setup seamlessly.
Note: If you encounter difficulty when securing the housing cap, gently twist the RO membrane to ensure it is properly seated against the pure water outlet for a perfect fit.
