How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. Initiate the process by securely closing the feed water supply line valve leading to the RO system, along with the corresponding valve on the water tank, to ensure a secure and controlled environment.
2. Proceed by opening the RO faucet, effectively releasing the pressure within the system and ensuring a safe and seamless membrane replacement process.
3. Carefully remove the blue safety clip, press the collect, and gently detach the tubing from the membrane housing, allowing clear and unobstructed access.
4. Utilize the included wrench to deftly unscrew and remove the membrane housing cap with precision and ease, paving the way for effortless maintenance.
5. With the aid of pliers, delicately extract and dispose of the old membrane. Introduce the new membrane, ensuring the end with two washers is securely placed inside the housing, guaranteeing optimal performance.
6. Securely replace and tighten the membrane housing cap, reconnect the tubing, and attach the blue safety clip to effortlessly complete the setup, ensuring seamless operation.
Note: Should you encounter any difficulty while securing the housing cap, gently twist the RO membrane to ensure it is properly seated against the pure water outlet, achieving a perfect and secure fit.
